Narrated by Talha ibn Ubaidullah, may Allah be pleased with him: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "When one of you places something like the back of a saddle in front of him, let him pray and not worry about whoever passes behind it." [Narrated by Muslim]
In a narration by Abu Dawud: "It suffices for him if they pass in front of him at a distance of a stone's throw." 1

Note 1
(1) The statement: "At a distance of a stone's throw" – In An-Nihayah: The correct view is that if one prays with full humility, keeping their gaze fixed on the place of prostration during the standing position and not looking at those passing by, it is not disliked. This is the preferred opinion of Fakhr al-Islam. Ibn al-Humam favored what is mentioned in An-Nihayah without distinguishing between the mosque and an open space, as stated in Al-Mirqat.
Note 1
