It is narrated from Busr ibn Mihjan, from his father, that he was in a gathering with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when the call to prayer was made. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stood, prayed, and returned, while Mihjan remained in his place. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him: "What prevented you from praying with the people? Are you not a Muslim?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, but I had already prayed with my family." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When you come to the mosque and have already prayed, and the prayer is established, pray with the people even if you have already prayed."

ف: واضح ہو کہ یہ حدیث اور اس کے بعد کی چند حدیثوں سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ تنہا نماز پڑھنے کے بعد مسجد میں جماعت مل جانے سے پانچوں نمازوں کو نفل کی نیت سے پڑھ سکتے ہیں لیکن ایسا نہیں ہے بلکہ یہ حکم صرف ظہر اور عشاء سے متعلق ہے، رہا فجر، عصر اور مغرب کو ایک مرتبہ پڑھنے کے بعد پھر دوبارہ نہ پڑھنے کی حدیثیں دارقطنی، امام مالک اور عبدالرزاق سے آگے آ رہی ہیں۔ جیسا کہ مرقات میں مذکور ہے۔
