Abu Abdur-Rahman reported that Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) taught people to pray four rak'ahs after Jumu’ah. When Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) came, he taught them to pray six rak'ahs.
