Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "We asked the wives of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'Did you see the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) pray two rak'ahs before Maghrib?' They said: 'No,' except Umm Salamah, who said: 'He prayed them once in my presence. I asked him: "What is this prayer?" He replied: "I forgot to pray the two rak'ahs before Asr, so I prayed them now."'"
