Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), who reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Staying up at night is a struggle and a burden. So when one of you prays Witr, let him pray two rak'ahs afterward. If he wakes up at night, it is good; otherwise, these two rak'ahs will suffice for him."
