Al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, 'Whoever is wailed over will be punished on the Day of Resurrection because of the wailing over him.'"

ف: مرقات میں لکھا ہے کہ آواز کے ساتھ میت پر رونے کو نوحہ کہتے ہیں یا میت کے ایسے اوصاف بیان کر کے رونا جو میت میں نہیں ہیں، یا میت کے ایسے اوصاف بیان کرنا جو میت میں تو ہیں مگر ان کو مبالغہ کے ساتھ بیان کر کے رونا یہ سب نوحہ کہلاتا ہے۔12
