Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever is struck by poverty and takes it to people will not have his poverty relieved. But whoever takes it to Allah, Allah will soon grant him sufficiency, either through a quick death or immediate sufficiency.”
