Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The one who has nothing of the Qur’an in his heart is like a ruined house." [Narrated by Tirmidhi and al-Darimi]
Tirmidhi said: "This is a Sahih Hadith."

ف: اشعۃ اللمعات میں لکھا ہے کہ اس حدیث شریف میں مذکور ہے ”جس کے دل میں کچھ بھی قرآن نہ“، ہو تو اس سے مراد قرآن کا صرف وہ حصہ نہیں جو نمازوں میں پڑھا جاتا ہو بلکہ اس کے سوا مسلمان کو کچھ نہ کچھ قرآن یاد کرنا چاہئے اگر یاد نہ کر سکتا ہو تو کم از کم ناظرہ ہی پڑھتا رہے۔
