Umm Habibah and Zaynab bint Jahsh narrated from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he said: It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for a deceased person beyond three days, except for a husband, for whom she mourns for four months and ten days.
