Al-Harith al-Ash'ari, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I command you with five things: the community, listening, obeying, migration, and jihad in the way of God. Whoever separates from the community by a span has removed the noose of Islam from his neck unless he returns. Whoever calls with the call of the pre-Islamic era is among the heaps of Hell, even if he fasts, prays, and claims to be a Muslim."
