Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I wish I had a white loaf of brown wheat bread mixed with ghee and milk.” A man from the people got up, prepared it, and brought it. He asked: “In what was this?” He said: “In a lizard skin.” He said: “Remove it.” 1

Note 1
(1) The statement: “Remove it”: Mawlana Muhammad Yahya (may he rest in peace) wrote: This was to clarify a ruling, that expressing such a desire does not fall under prohibited matters. The hadith suggests the impermissibility of lizard, as if it were lawful, the Prophet (ﷺ) would not have ordered the removal of food mixed with ghee from a lizard skin, per “Bazl al-Majhud.”
