Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Abu Humaid, a man from the Ansar, brought a vessel of milk from Naqi‘ to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Why did you not cover it, even if only with a stick across it?"
