Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "The believer’s lower garment should reach mid-calf, and there is no sin in what is between that and the ankles. What is below that is in the Fire." He said this three times: "Allah will not look at whoever drags his lower garment out of arrogance."
