Al-Miswar bin Makhrama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "When the Prophet ﷺ performed ablution, the people nearly fought over his leftover water." [Narrated by Bukhari]
In the explanation: "These reports and similar ones indicate the purity of used water, and without this, there would be no meaning to seeking blessings and wiping with it. The legal ruling is that the water used for ablution remains pure according to the Hanafi school."

(اس کی روایت بخاری نے کی ہے) سعایہ میں لکھا ہے کہ یہ اور اسی قسم کی احادیث اس بات پر دلیل ہیں کہ مستعمل پانی پاک ہوتا ہے ورنہ اس کو تبرک سمجھنے اور جسم پر ملنے اور اس طرح استعمال کرنے کی کوئی وجہ نہ تھی، مذہب حنفی میں فتویٰ اس پر ہے کہ استعمال شدہ پانی پاک ہے مگر پاک کرنے والا نہیں ہے۔
