٤٩٩١ - وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ (رضي الله عنه)قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ 1 الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

(1) His statement: “A prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever”: It is like a prison for the believer compared to the reward and eternal bliss prepared for him in the Hereafter, and like a paradise for the disbeliever compared to the punishment and painful torment prepared for him in the Hereafter. (As stated in Al-Mirqat.)
