Abdur-Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, has made fasting in Ramadan obligatory upon you, and I have made its night prayers a Sunnah. Whoever fasts and stands in prayer during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward will emerge from his sins as pure as the day he was born.'"
