Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), who reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "On the night of the 15th of Sha'ban, Allah looks down and forgives all of His creation except for a polytheist or one who harbors hatred." [Narrated by Ibn Majah]
Ahmad narrated it from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al-As (may Allah be pleased with him). In another narration: "Except for two: one who harbors hatred and a murderer."

ف: اس حدیث شریف میں ارشاد ہے کہ شب براءت میں ایسے مسلمان کی بخشش نہیں ہوتی جو کسی مسلمان سے کینہ رکھے یا کسی کو ناحق قتل کردے۔ اس بارے میں صاحب مرقات نے لکھا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس رات: بجز کفر کے تمام حقوق اللہ معاف فرما دیتے ہیں البتہ حقوق العباد کو معاف نہیں فرماتے یہاں تک وہ توبہ کرلے۔
