Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'The length of a man's prayer and the brevity of his sermon are a sign of his understanding (of religion). So, lengthen the prayer and shorten the sermon, and indeed, some eloquence is magic.'"
