Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what are these sacrifices?' He replied, 'The tradition of your father Ibrahim.' They asked, 'What is in it for us, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'For every hair, there is a reward.' They asked, 'What about the wool, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'For every hair of the wool, there is a reward.'"
