Al-Husayn ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'No Muslim man or woman is afflicted with a calamity and remembers it, even if a long time has passed, and says, "To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return," except that Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, renews their reward as on the day they were afflicted.'"
