Zaid ibn Aslam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: “Umar ibn Al-Khattab drank some milk and liked it. He asked the one who gave it to him where it came from. The man informed him that he had come to a watering place where some charity animals were grazing, and they milked some for him, which he put in his container. Umar immediately put his finger in his throat and vomited it.”

ف: مرقات اور اشعۃ اللمعات میں لکھا ہے کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے قے کے ذریعہ دودھ جو نکال دیا آپ کا عمل تقویٰ اور پرہیزگاری کی بناء پر تھا۔ ورنہ اس طرح کا مال جو کسی فقیر کی جانب سے کسی غنی کو بطور ہدیہ دیا جائے، اس کا استعمال کرنا درست ہے۔ جیسا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا ارشاد حضرت بریرہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی حدیث 66 میں گزر چکا ہے جو ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا تھا کہ ”لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ“ (ان کے لئے صدقہ ہے اور ہمارے لئے ہدیہ ہے)۔
