Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When any of you marries a woman or buys a servant, he should say: 'O Allah, I ask You for her good and the good of her nature, and I seek refuge in You from her evil and the evil of her nature.' When buying a camel, he should take hold of the top of its hump and say the same. In another version: For the woman and servant, then he should take hold of her forelock and supplicate for blessing."
