Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) came to the watering place and asked for water. Al-Abbas said: "O Fadl, go to your mother and bring drink for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Give me to drink." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, people put their hands in it." He said: "Give me to drink," and drank from it. Then he came to Zamzam where people were drawing water and working, and said: "Keep working, for you are doing good work. Were it not that you might be overwhelmed, I would have taken the rope and placed it here" - pointing to his shoulder.
