Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If someone buys a garment for ten dirhams, and one of those dirhams is haram, Allah will not accept his prayers as long as he wears it." Then he put his fingers in his ears and said: "May they be deaf if I did not hear the Prophet (ﷺ) say this!"

Note 1
(1) The statement: "Allah will not accept his prayers" means that the prayer is valid but unrewarded, similar to praying in usurped land. This is because Allah says: "Allah only accepts from the righteous." (Al-Ma'idah 5:27) Reward depends on acceptance, while validity depends on fulfilling conditions. Piety is not a condition for the validity of worship according to Ahlus-Sunnah. (Al-Mirqat)
