Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Quraysh made a treaty with the Prophet (ﷺ), stipulating: “Whoever comes to us from you, we will not return to you, but whoever comes to you from us, you return to us.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, shall we write this?” He said: “Yes. Whoever goes from us to them, may Allah keep him far, and whoever comes to us from them, Allah will grant him relief and a way out.”
