Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) set out for Badr with three hundred and fifteen men. He said, “O Allah, they are barefoot, so provide them mounts; O Allah, they are unclothed, so clothe them; O Allah, they are hungry, so feed them.” Allah granted him victory at Badr, and they returned, with no man among them but returned with one or two camels, clothed, and satisfied.
