Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Tufayl ibn Amr ad-Dawsi came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: “Daws has perished; it has disobeyed 1 and refused. Curse them.” People thought he would curse them, but he said: “O Allah, guide Daws and bring them.”
