Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to Bilal at the time of Fajr prayer: 'O Bilal, tell me about the most hopeful deed you have done in Islam, for I heard the sound of your sandals in front of me in Paradise.' Bilal replied: 'I have not done any deed more hopeful to me than this: I have never performed ablution at any time of the night or day without praying as much as was written for me afterward.'" [Agreed upon by Bukhari and Muslim]
In a narration by Tirmidhi: "I have never become impure without performing ablution immediately, and I felt that I owed Allah two rak'ahs." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is because of these two."
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught us to seek guidance (Istikhara) in all matters, just as he taught us a Surah from the Quran. He said: 'When one of you is concerned about a matter, let him pray two rak'ahs of voluntary prayer, then say:
"O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek ability by Your power, and I ask You from Your immense favor. For You are capable, and I am not. You know, and I do not. You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs—or he said: in this life and the hereafter—then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. But if You know that this matter is harmful for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs—or he said: in this life and the hereafter—then turn it away from me and turn me away from it. Decree for me what is good wherever it may be, and make me content with it."'
He should then mention his need."
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me, and Abu Bakr spoke the truth, that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'There is no man who commits a sin, then purifies himself, prays, and seeks Allah's forgiveness, except that Allah forgives him.' Then he recited: 'And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins—and who can forgive sins except Allah?—and do not persist in what they have done while they know.' (Al-Imran, 3:135)"

Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever has a need from Allah or from any of the children of Adam, let him perform ablution and perfect it, then pray two rak'ahs. Afterward, let him praise Allah, send blessings upon the Prophet (ﷺ), and say:
"There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Magnificent Throne. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I ask You for the means of Your mercy, the certainty of Your forgiveness, the spoils of every good deed, and safety from every sin. Do not leave any sin of mine unforgiven, nor any worry unrelieved, nor any need that pleases You unfulfilled, O Most Merciful of the merciful.'" [Narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah]
Tirmidhi said: "This is a Gharib Hadith."
Abu Wahb reported: "I asked Abdullah ibn Al-Mubarak about the prayer involving glorification (Salat al-Tasbih). He said: 'One begins with Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar), then recites:
(Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise; blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no god but You).
Then one repeats fifteen times:
(Glory be to Allah, all praise is to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest).
After this, one seeks refuge [with Allah], recites Surah Al-Fatihah, and another Surah. Then one repeats the same glorifications ten times.
In each rak’ah, this is repeated: ten times in ruku (bowing), ten times upon rising from ruku, ten times in each prostration (sujood), and ten times while sitting between the two prostrations. This is performed over four rak’ahs, totaling seventy-five glorifications per rak’ah (beginning with fifteen before recitation and ten in each subsequent position).'
In a narration by Abu Dawud, it states: 'If you were the most sinful person on earth, you would be forgiven by this prayer.' In Ibn Majah’s narration, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Even if your sins were as numerous as the grains of desert sand, they would be forgiven.' A companion asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what if one cannot perform it daily?' He replied: 'Perform it weekly. If unable, then monthly. If still unable, then once a year.'"
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'The first deed for which a servant will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection is their prayer. If it is sound, they will succeed; if defective, they will fail. If any deficiency is found in their obligatory prayers, the Lord—Exalted and Majestic—will say: "See if My servant has any voluntary prayers to complete what is lacking in the obligatory ones." Then the rest of their deeds will be judged accordingly.' In another narration: 'Zakat will be judged in the same manner, followed by all other deeds.'"
Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah has not granted a servant anything better than two rak’ahs of prayer. Righteousness is showered upon a servant’s head as long as they remain in prayer. Indeed, the closest means by which a servant draws near to Allah is through what emanates from Him (the Qur’an).'" Abu Nasr Al-Rawi, the narrator, explained: "This refers to the Qur’an."
