ترمذی اور امام نسائی کی روایت میں اضافہ بھی ہے کہ پھر آپ ﷺ نے اس کو چھوڑ دیا۔

Punishment is only for an obligation, while suspicion-based detention is to investigate further. It was narrated that he detained a man on suspicion for an hour of the day, then released him.
