Narrated by Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him: "I came riding a donkey, and I had just reached the age of puberty. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was leading the people in prayer at Mina without a wall in front of him. I passed in front of part of the row, dismounted, let the donkey graze, and joined the row. No one objected to this." 1

Note 1
(1) The statement: "No one objected to this" – Ibn al-Malik said: "The purpose is to show that the passing of a donkey in front of someone praying does not invalidate the prayer," as mentioned in Al-Mirqat.
