Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Every child is born with a natural disposition (fitrah), and then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian." It was asked: "What about those who die as infants, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "Allah knows best what they were doing."
