Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish prayer, and pay zakat. If they do that, they will have secured their lives and property from me except by the right of Islam, and their reckoning is with Allah."
