Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Straighten your rows, for straightening the rows is part of establishing the prayer." [Agreed upon]
In Muslim's version: "Straightening the rows is part of perfecting the prayer."

انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ
وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: تم اپنی صفوں کو سیدھی کرو، باہم مل کر ایک دوسرے سے نزدیک کھڑے
رہو، اس لئے کہ صفوں کو سیدھا کرنا ان چیزوں میں سے ہے جن سے نماز کی اصلاح ہوتی ہے۔
(اس کی روایت بخاری اور مسلم نے متفقہ طور پر کی ہے۔)
