Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) called me and made me promise not to ask people for anything. I said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘Not even your whip if it falls from you until you dismount and pick it up.’”
