It is narrated from al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him), as a mursal (unattributed) hadith, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever dies while seeking knowledge to revive Islam, there is between him and the Prophets one level in Paradise."

٢٣٣ - وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ مُرْسَلًا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ جَاءَهُ الْمَوْتُ وَهُوَ يَطْلُبُ الْعِلْمَ لِيُحْيِيَ بِهِ الْإِسْلَامَ، فَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّبِيِّينَ دَرَجَةً وَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ». رَوَاهُ الدَّارِمِيُّ.

اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس کو موت ایسی حالت میں آ جائے کہ وہ علم حاصل کر رہا تھا تاکہ اس کے
ذریعہ اسلام کو زندہ کرے تو اس کے اور انبیاء کے درمیان جنت میں صرف ایک درجہ کا فرق رہے گا
(اس کی روایت دارمی نے کی ہے)۔
