Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was more cautious about Sha’ban than he was about other months. He would fast upon sighting the crescent moon of Ramadan, but if it was obscured from him, he would count thirty days and then fast.
