Ma'qil ibn Yasar al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Ya-Sin seeking the pleasure of Allah, his previous sins will be forgiven. So recite it over your dying ones."

ف: اس حدیث شریف میں ارشاد ہے کہ سورہ یٰسین کو اخلاص سے پڑھنے سے گناہ معاف ہو جاتے ہیں اور قریب المرگ شخص کے پاس اگر سورہ یٰسین پڑھا جائے تو وہ اس کو سنے گا اور اس کا دل متاثر ہوگا اور اس کے گناہ بھی معاف ہوں گے۔ یہ مرقات میں مذکور ہے۔ صاحب مرقات نے فرمایا ہے کہ چونکہ سورہ یٰسین کی تلاوت گناہوں کی مغفرت کا سبب ہے اس لئے قبروں کے پاس بھی اس کو پڑھنا چاہئے۔
