Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to Ubayy ibn Ka'b: "Allah has commanded me to recite the Qur'an to you." Ubayy said: "Did Allah mention me by name to you?" He said: "Yes." Ubayy's eyes overflowed with tears. In another narration: "Allah commanded me to recite to you: 'Those who disbelieved...' (Surah al-Bayyinah)." Ubayy asked: "And He mentioned me by name?" He said: "Yes," so Ubayy wept.
