Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: "Everything has a polish, and the polish of hearts is the remembrance of Allah. Nothing saves from Allah's punishment like His remembrance." They asked, "Not even jihad in Allah's path?" He said, "Not even that, unless one strikes with his sword until it breaks."
