Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says when going to bed: 'I seek forgiveness from Allah besides Whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him,' three times, Allah will forgive his sins, even if they are as much as the foam of the sea, or as numerous as the grains of sand, or as many as the leaves of trees, or as the days of this world."
