Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief, sadness, weakness, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, overwhelming debt, and subjugation by others."

٢٩٢٢ - وَعَنْهُ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمَّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ
وسلم یہ (دعاء بھی) فرمایا کرتے تھے:
یا الٰہی! میں فکر اور غم، عاجزی اور سستی، بزدلی اور بخل، قرض کے بوجھ اور آدمیوں کے غلبہ سے
آپ کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں۔ اس کی روایت بخاری اور مسلم نے متفقہ طور پر کی ہے۔
