From Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The last of the actions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was to leave wudu from what had touched fire. [Narrated by al-Tahawi and Al-Nasa’i. Imam Nawawi said in his explanation of Sahih Muslim: "And this is an authentic hadith."

٣٠٣ - وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: كَانَ آخِرُ الْأَمْرَيْنِ مِنْ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ ﷺ تَرْكُ الْوُضُوْءِ مِمَّا مَسَّتْ النَّارُ. رَوَاهُ الطَّحَاوِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ.
وَقَالَ الْإِمَامُ النَّوَوِيُّ فِي شَرْحِ مُسْلِمٍ: وَهُوَ حَدِيْثُ صَحِيحٌ.
