English

Nawfal ibn Mu‘awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: “I embraced Islam while I had five wives. I asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about this, and he said, ‘Separate from one and keep four.’ I therefore chose the wife who had been with me the longest. She had been barren for sixty years, so I separated from her”.
