Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family. When your companion dies, leave him alone.” Narrated by Tirmidhi and Ad-Darimi. Ibn Majah narrated it from Ibn Abbas up to “to my family.”

ف: واضح ہو کہ اس حدیث میں ”صاحبکم“ کا لفظ ارشاد فرمایا گیا ہے اس سے بعض محدثین نے حضور صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو مراد لیا ہے جس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ حضور صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ یوں فرما رہے ہیں جب میرا وصال ہو تو میرے بعد میرے اہل بیت میرے صحابہ اور میری امت کو تکلیف دے کر مجھے نہ ستاؤ۔ (مرقات 12)
