Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The best 1 horses are the black with a blaze and white markings, with a white upper lip, then the one with a blaze and white markings, free of whiteness on the right foreleg, but if it is not black, then a reddish-brown with these characteristics."

٣٨٢٥. وعن ابي قتادة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم قال : خير 1الخيل الادهم الاقرح الْأَرْثمُ، ثُمَّ الْأَقْرَحُ الْمُحَجَّلُ طَلْقُ الْبَمِينِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَدهَمَ فَكُمَيْتُ عَلَى هَذِهِ الشِّيَةِ). رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ وَالدَّارِميُّ.

ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ بہترین گھوڑا10 وہ ہے جس کا
رنگ کالا، پیشانی سفید اور ناک سفید ہو۔ پھر وہ جس کی پیشانی سفید اور جس کے ہاتھ پاؤں سفید ہوں
اور سیدھا پاؤں خالی ہو۔ اور اگر وہ کالا نہ ہو تو سرخ رنگ ہو اور یہی صفات والا ہو۔ (ترمذی، دارمی)
