Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allah has favored me over the prophets” – or he said: “favored my nation over other nations – and made spoils lawful for me.”

٣٩١٩-وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الله عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: (إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَضَّلَنِي عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ) - أَوْقَالَ: (فَضَّلَ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْأُمَمِ - وَأَحَلَّ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمَ). رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ.

ابو امامہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا
بے شک اللہ نے مجھے انبیاء پر فضیلت دی یا فرمایا کہ میری امت کو دوسری امتوں پر فضیلت دی اور
ہمارے لئے اموال غنیمت کو حلال کیا۔ (ترمذی)

And Allah is capable of all things” [Qur’an 8:41]. And His saying: “O Prophet, urge the believers to fight” [Qur’an 8:65]. And His saying: “Whoever misappropriates will come with what he misappropriated on the Day of Resurrection. Then every soul will be fully repaid for what it earned, and they will not be wronged” [Qur’an 3:161].
