But the clothing of righteousness—that is best and His saying, the Exalted: Say, "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good things of provision?" (1) The statement: "The most beloved garment to the Prophet (ﷺ) to wear was the hibarah": Al-Jazari said: This indicates the desirability of wearing the hibarah and the permissibility of wearing striped garments. Mirak said: This is agreed upon. As stated in Al-Marqat. An-Nawawi said the same.
