Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) wanted to write to Kisra, Caesar, and Najashi, and it was said: They do not accept a letter without a seal. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a ring with a silver band and engraved on it: Muhammad, Messenger of Allah. In a narration by Bukhari: The ring’s engraving was three lines: Muhammad on one line, Messenger on one line, and Allah on one line.
