Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Every disease has a cure, and when the cure matches the disease, it heals by Allah’s permission 2 .

٤٣٦٣ - وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ الله صلي الله عليه واله وسلم (لِكُلِّ دَاءِ دَوَاءٌ، فَإِذَا أُصِيبَدَوَاءُ الدَّاءِ بَرَأَ إِذْنِ اللهِ) 2 رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمُ.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے
فرمایا: ہر بیماری کے لئے دوا ہے۔ اور جب دوا بیماری کے موافق پہنچ جائے تو وہ اللہ کے حکم 2؎
سے اچھا ہو جائے گا۔ (مسلم)

(2) The statement: "heals by Allah’s permission": In Al-Alamgiriyyah: There is no issue with seeking treatment if one believes Allah is the Healer and the medicine is a means. If one believes the medicine itself heals, that is not permissible. Thus, it is stated in Al-Sirajiyyah.
