Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The evil eye is real. If anything could outstrip fate, it would be the evil eye. When you are asked to wash, do so .

٤٤١٢ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رضي الله عنهما عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلي الله عليه واله وسلم قَالَ: (الْعَيْنُ حَقُّ، فَلَوْ كَانَ شَيْءُ سَابَقَالْقَدَرَ سَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ، وَإِذَا اسْتُغْسِلْتُمْ فَاغْسِلُوا). رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

نے ارشاد فرمایا: نظر حق ہے، اگر کوئی چیز تقدیر پر سبقت کرنے والی ہوتی تو نظر سبقت کر جاتی اور جب
تم سے دھونے کی خواہش کی جائے تو تم دھو دیا کرو۔ (مسلم)
